Eric practices as a mediator and an arbitrator. He holds two Certificates of Achievement from the University of Windsor in Alternate Dispute Resolution (1995), has had additional training in Family Law mediation and has been a Roster Mediator for the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program since inception. He has provided dispute resolution services to the legal profession and their clients since 1994.

Eric has been a part-time instructor at Seneca College, has participated in seminars, including acting as a Guest Seminar Leader at a mediation seminar at the University of Toronto School of Social Work, and has acted as a guest speaker for the Ontario Bar Association from time to time. He sits as a moot court judge at Osgoode Hall Law School from time to time.

Eric is past President of Adath Israel Congregation and is currently a member of its Board of Governors. He is also a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Lawyers Club and the Volunteer Lawyers Service, which provides legal services to not-for-profit organizations. He is or has been a volunteer board member on several not-for profit organizations.
